Parking Attendant

Job Description

A busy restaurant is looking for a courteous and dependable Parking Attendant to help create a smooth arrival and departure experience for every guest. If you enjoy working outdoors, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized parking area, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to available parking spaces.
• Monitor vehicle movement to maintain a safe and efficient parking flow.
• Assist guests with parking directions and answer general enquiries.
• Help keep parking entrances, exits, and walkways clear of obstructions.
• Report suspicious activities, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff during busy service periods and special events.
• Ensure parking rules and procedures are followed.
• Provide assistance to guests requiring additional support when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parking operations, customer service, security, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain courteous and professional in busy environments.
• Good observation skills and attention to safety.
• Physically fit and comfortable standing or walking for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
