Parking Attendant

Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a dependable and friendly Parking Attendant to help create a smooth arrival and departure experience for every guest. If you are alert, approachable, and comfortable working outdoors while keeping things organised, you could be a great fit for the team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with parking and retrieving vehicles.
• Direct vehicles safely into designated parking spaces.
• Keep the parking area orderly, accessible, and free from unnecessary obstructions.
• Monitor vehicle movement and report any safety or security concerns.
• Assist guests with directions and general hotel enquiries when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles entering and leaving the parking area.
• Coordinate with the front desk and security team when required.
• Handle guest vehicles carefully and professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a parking attendant, valet, security assistant, or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong awareness of safety and surroundings.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle handling and parking procedures.
• Physically fit and comfortable working for extended periods.
• A valid driving licence is an advantage where vehicle movement is part of the role.
• Reliable, punctual, courteous, and well presented.
