Parking Attendant

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a courteous, observant, and dependable Parking Attendant to provide a smooth arrival and departure experience for guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and maintaining an organized parking area while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the hotel.
• Direct vehicles to designated parking spaces safely and efficiently.
• Assist guests with parking instructions and answer general questions.
• Monitor the parking area to ensure it remains orderly and secure.
• Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or vehicle incidents promptly.
• Maintain clear access routes for guests, staff, and emergency vehicles.
• Coordinate with front desk and security teams when necessary.
• Keep parking entrances, exits, and walkways clean and free from obstructions.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and traffic management guidelines.
• Provide assistance during busy periods, special events, and peak check-in and check-out times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parking Attendant, Valet, Security Assistant, or in a customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain courteous and professional under pressure.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of parking safety and traffic control practices.
