Massage Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Massage Therapist to join our hotel pool team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about wellness, relaxation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will provide a variety of massage treatments in a tranquil poolside environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, and guest care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of professional massage therapies tailored to guests’ individual needs.
• Welcome guests warmly and conduct brief consultations before each treatment.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to the highest cleanliness standards.
• Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and safety throughout every session.
• Recommend suitable wellness treatments and spa products when appropriate.
• Keep accurate treatment records and report any guest concerns to management.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with preparing the pool wellness area for daily operations.
• Work collaboratively with pool, spa, and hotel team members to provide outstanding service.
• Stay informed about new massage techniques and wellness practices.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Massage Therapy from a recognised training institution.
• Previous experience as a Massage Therapist in a hotel, resort, spa, or wellness centre is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, or other therapeutic massage techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
• Strong attention to hygiene, safety, and guest confidentiality.
• Physically capable of performing massage treatments throughout scheduled shifts.
