Our hotel is committed to providing guests with a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the smooth operation of the property. The successful candidate will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and technical troubleshooting across guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and essential hotel facilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and general building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments and guests.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose technical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Monitor mechanical and electrical systems for potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and relevant technical standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors when specialist repairs are required.
• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas organised.
• Support emergency repairs and minimise operational disruptions.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, certificate, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel, commercial building, facility, or property maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, equipment specifications, and basic diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs.
• Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
