Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the smooth operation of our hotel by maintaining facilities, equipment, and essential systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering reliable repairs, preventative maintenance, and technical support to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from different departments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air conditioning, heating, lighting, and other operational systems.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions.
• Assist with installation, replacement, and upgrading of hotel equipment and fixtures.
• Follow health, safety, and maintenance procedures at all times.
• Work closely with other departments to address facility concerns and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Building Technician, or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
