Lounge Manager

Job Description

We are a vibrant bar committed to delivering memorable evenings through excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and well-managed operations. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Lounge Manager to oversee the daily running of the lounge, lead the team, maintain service standards, and ensure every guest enjoys a polished experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate lounge staff.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and promptly resolve complaints.
• Monitor sales, cash handling, stock levels, and operational costs.
• Coordinate with bartenders, servers, security, and other bar staff.
• Ensure the lounge remains clean, organised, and professionally presented.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures in line with bar policies.
• Support promotions, special events, entertainment, and peak-period operations.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, licensing, and responsible service requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to senior management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in lounge, bar, restaurant, or entertainment management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management abilities.
• Good knowledge of beverage service, bar operations, and stock control.
• Excellent customer-service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic financial reporting.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
