Job Description

We are looking for a vigilant and professional Lifeguard to oversee the safety of guests using our hotel swimming pool. This role is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, enjoys interacting with people, and is committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming recreational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all swimming pool activities to ensure guest safety.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations at all times.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and administer first aid or CPR when required.
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area and safety equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the pool deck.
• Assist guests with pool-related inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Report hazards, incidents, and maintenance concerns to management.
• Ensure rescue equipment and first aid supplies remain accessible and in good condition.
• Support hotel events or activities taking place in the pool area when required.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard certification from a recognized training organization.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, recreation center, or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong swimming, rescue, and emergency response skills.
• Excellent observation and decision-making abilities.
• Friendly communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain alert and focused throughout assigned shifts.
