Job Description

A vibrant hospitality setting is looking for a confident and alert Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at the hotel pool. This role is all about quick response, strong awareness, and delivering a calm, reassuring presence in a leisure environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities at all times to ensure guest safety
• Enforce pool rules in a polite and professional manner
• Respond immediately to emergencies, accidents, or distress situations
• Perform rescue techniques and administer first aid or CPR when required
• Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment
• Assist guests with basic inquiries and provide safety guidance
• Report incidents and daily observations to management

Qualifications

• Strong swimming ability and confidence in deep water
• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized training body
• CPR and first aid training certification
• Excellent situational awareness and ability to stay focused for long periods
• Calm decision-making skills under pressure
• Good communication skills and a polite, guest-friendly attitude
• Physically fit and able to respond quickly when needed
• Prior experience in a pool, beach, or aquatic safety role is an advantage
