Lifeguard

Job Description

We’re looking for a calm, alert, and safety-focused Lifeguard to join our hotel team and help ensure every guest enjoys a safe and relaxing experience around our pool area. If you stay composed under pressure and genuinely care about people’s wellbeing, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities at all times to ensure guest safety
• Enforce pool rules politely but firmly when necessary
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including rescue situations
• Provide first aid and CPR when required
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the pool area
• Inspect pool equipment and report any safety concerns or hazards
• Assist guests with pool-related inquiries in a friendly manner
• Keep accurate incident and safety reports

Qualifications

• Strong swimming ability and confidence in deep water
• Valid lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
• Basic knowledge of CPR and first aid
• Good communication and observation skills
• Ability to stay focused for long periods
• Physically fit and able to act quickly in emergencies
• Prior experience in hospitality or pool safety is an advantage but not required
