Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our kitchen team in a busy restaurant environment. This role is key to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring cleanliness, order, and support for the culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing floors, walls, and surfaces
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and properly
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic support tasks when required
• Dispose of waste and manage recycling in line with hygiene standards
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and report shortages when necessary
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is an advantage
• Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency under pressure
