Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, ensuring equipment is ready for service, and assisting with essential back-of-house duties. Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly.
• Keep kitchen workstations, floors, walls, and storage areas clean and sanitized.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
• Remove waste and recycling while maintaining a clean disposal area.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues promptly.
• Help maintain an organized and safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar restaurant support role is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively.
