A well-organized restaurant is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation and storage areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by chefs.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste following hygiene procedures.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors and work surfaces.
• Receive and organize deliveries of food and kitchen supplies.
• Restock cleaning materials and kitchen essentials when required.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations.
• Support the kitchen team with general duties during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar support role within a restaurant is an advantage.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
