We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to support our restaurant team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and assisting with essential kitchen duties. Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, storage areas, and waste disposal points.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Receive and properly store deliveries.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and used safely.
• Remove rubbish and recycling in accordance with hygiene procedures.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment promptly.
• Help maintain an organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar kitchen support role is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies when required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to supporting the kitchen team.
