IT Support Officer

Are you the kind of person who enjoys solving problems, keeping systems running smoothly, and helping people stay connected and productive? We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Officer to join our hotel team. In this role, you will support daily technology operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure hotel systems function efficiently to create a seamless experience for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for hotel staff and operational systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, printer, and network-related issues
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, POS systems, telephones, and office equipment
• Assist in setting up user accounts, email access, and system permissions
• Support hotel technology infrastructure, including Wi-Fi connectivity and internal systems
• Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance
• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and maintain issue logs
• Ensure IT equipment is functioning properly and recommend repairs or replacements when needed
• Respond promptly to technical requests to minimize operational downtime

Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT support, technical support, or a similar role is an advantage
• Good understanding of computer systems, networking, troubleshooting, and software support
• Familiarity with hospitality systems, POS systems, or hotel technology is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical requests efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general computer applications
• A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
