Inventory Controller

Job Description

A busy, fast-paced café is looking for a sharp and reliable Inventory Controller to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy making sure nothing goes missing or overstocked, this could be a great fit. You’ll be the person ensuring ingredients, supplies, and essentials are always available when needed, without waste or excess. The role is key to keeping daily operations efficient and cost-effective.

Responsibilities

• Track daily stock levels across food, beverages, and café supplies
• Monitor deliveries and verify orders against invoices
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or excess
• Work closely with kitchen and floor staff to forecast supply needs
• Help reduce waste and improve stock usage efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory, storekeeping, or café/restaurant operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and basic numerical skills
• Good organization and time management
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems is an advantage
