Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in keeping our kitchen and bar operations running smoothly by ensuring stock levels are accurate, well-managed, and consistently up to date. If you enjoy working behind the scenes, have a strong sense of organization, and can spot discrepancies quickly, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all incoming and outgoing stock items
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems daily
- Work closely with chefs, bartenders, and suppliers to track usage patterns
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste
- Assist in preparing inventory reports for management review
- Flag low stock levels and support timely reordering processes
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Good numerical and organizational skills
- Ability to work with inventory or POS systems is an advantage
- Prior experience in stock control or a similar role in hospitality is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
