Hotel Operations Supervisor

A well-established hotel is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hotel Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, supports operational excellence, and works closely with department heads to maintain high service standards across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other operational departments.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service at all times.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and support ongoing training initiatives.
• Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow across departments.
• Resolve guest concerns efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Assist with staff scheduling and monitor attendance to maintain adequate departmental coverage.
• Support inventory control and ensure operational supplies are readily available.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel operations, front office, housekeeping, or a supervisory role within a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel property management systems is an advantage.
