Job Description

We’re looking for a warm, confident, and welcoming Hostess to be the first friendly face guests see when they walk into our café. If you enjoy meeting people, keeping things organized, and creating a smooth dining experience from the very start, this role might be a great fit. In this position, you’ll set the tone for every guest’s visit, making sure they feel comfortable, attended to, and well-guided from entry to seating.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently
• Guide guests to tables and present menus
• Maintain an organized waiting list during busy hours
• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service flow
• Assist in keeping the entrance and reception area neat and presentable
• Handle guest inquiries and basic complaints politely and calmly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm and organized, even during busy periods
• Presentable and professional appearance
• Ability to multitask and stay attentive to guest needs
• Friendly personality with a strong sense of hospitality
• Basic understanding of reservation or seating systems is a plus
