We are looking for a confident and personable Host to become the first point of contact for guests visiting our bar. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a lively environment, and takes pride in creating a positive first impression. As a Host, you will greet guests, manage seating arrangements, coordinate with the service team, and help ensure every visitor enjoys a seamless experience from arrival to departure.

About the Role

The Host plays an essential part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining an organized entrance area, managing guest flow, and providing friendly assistance throughout each visit. Success in this role requires professionalism, excellent communication, and the ability to remain composed during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently.
• Escort guests to available seating and provide menus when required.
• Coordinate with bartenders and floor staff to optimize table availability.
• Respond to guest enquiries and provide accurate information about services and promotions.
• Monitor the entrance and waiting area to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Thank guests as they leave and encourage repeat visits.
• Support the team during peak service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all customer service and venue policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host, Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or in a guest-facing role within a bar, restaurant, lounge, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in fast-paced situations.
• Comfortable using reservation or booking systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
