We are looking for a warm, confident, and customer-focused Host to be the welcoming face of a busy cafe. If you enjoy meeting people, creating great first impressions, and keeping things running smoothly at the front of house, this role is for you. As a Cafe Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet customers, manage seating, handle basic enquiries, and support the service team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Manage seating arrangements and table flow efficiently
• Handle reservations and walk-in customers
• Communicate wait times clearly and politely
• Assist servers and baristas during busy periods
• Keep the entrance and waiting area clean and organized
• Provide menu information and answer basic customer questions
• Ensure guests leave with a positive experience

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, confident, and well-presented personality
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy hours
• Basic customer service experience is an advantage
• Good teamwork and willingness to support others
• Positive attitude and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
