Head Bartender

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Bartender to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional beverage service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and has the leadership skills to maintain high service standards while inspiring a team to perform at its best.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar and ensure smooth service during every shift.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to quality.
• Lead, train, mentor, and motivate bartenders and bar support staff.
• Develop seasonal drink menus and recommend new beverage offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste through effective stock control.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar area.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and assist with end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Bartender, Lead Bartender, or in a senior bar role.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and modern mixology techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy bar environment.
• Experience with inventory management and beverage cost control.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance and a positive, energetic attitude.
• Relevant bar, mixology, or beverage certifications are an advantage.
