Head Bartender

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and confident Head Bartender to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional beverage service in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the bar team during each shift.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Create signature cocktails and ensure recipe consistency.
• Train new bartenders and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures for the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the bar area.
• Work closely with management to improve service quality and increase beverage sales.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender, with previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Experience with inventory control, stock ordering, and cost management.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining service quality.
• Professional appearance with a positive and energetic attitude.
