Head Bartender

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the beverage bar to ensure efficient service.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso-based drinks, mocktails, smoothies, teas, and specialty beverages.
• Lead, train, and motivate bartenders and baristas to maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Develop and introduce seasonal beverage menus and signature drinks.
• Manage stock levels, place inventory requests, and minimize waste.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve service concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with scheduling, performance monitoring, and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender, or in a similar beverage leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, specialty beverages, and non-alcoholic drink creation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control and beverage cost management.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Professional appearance with a positive, dependable attitude.
• Relevant food safety or beverage preparation certifications are an advantage.
