Groundskeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to help ensure our restaurant’s outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and team members. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy hands-on work, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas.
• Mow grass, trim hedges, and prune plants as needed.
• Keep walkways, entrances, patios, and parking areas clean and free of debris.
• Water plants and monitor the health of landscaping.
• Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and other outdoor waste.
• Perform seasonal planting and general garden maintenance.
• Report damaged outdoor equipment, lighting, or safety hazards.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining outdoor seating areas.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and basic landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.
• Dependable, hardworking, and punctual.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
