Job Description

A well-maintained hotel begins with exceptional outdoor spaces, and we are looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to help create an attractive, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and visitors. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, watering, and fertilising.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and landscaped areas.
• Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and debris from outdoor spaces.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and gardening tools safely.
• Monitor irrigation systems and report any faults or repairs required.
• Keep walkways, driveways, and outdoor facilities clean and hazard-free.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and outdoor improvements.
• Apply approved pest and weed control methods when required.
• Report damaged plants, equipment, or safety concerns promptly.
• Support the maintenance team with outdoor setup for hotel events when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, or property maintenance, preferably within a hotel or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and landscape upkeep.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and hand tools safely.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
