Job Description

A well-maintained hotel begins with exceptional outdoor spaces, and we are looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to help create a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for every guest. Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, trimming, and watering.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping features.
• Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and debris from outdoor areas.
• Keep walkways, driveways, and parking areas clean and hazard-free.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely.
• Monitor irrigation systems and report any faults or leaks.
• Apply fertilizers and other approved landscaping treatments when required.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and property improvements.
• Remove snow, standing water, or other outdoor hazards where applicable.
• Report maintenance issues affecting outdoor facilities to the appropriate department.
• Follow health and safety procedures while carrying out daily tasks.
• Support the maintenance team with additional outdoor duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, or property maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to take initiative.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
