A well-maintained hotel creates a welcoming first impression for every guest, and our outdoor spaces play a vital role in that experience. We are looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper who takes pride in creating attractive, clean, and safe surroundings. Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, pathways, and landscaped areas to a high standard.
• Mow grass, trim hedges, prune shrubs, and care for trees and plants.
• Water gardens and monitor the health of flowers, plants, and lawns.
• Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and other debris from outdoor areas.
• Plant seasonal flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping features.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Apply fertilizers and other approved treatments when required.
• Keep walkways, entrances, parking areas, and outdoor facilities clean and hazard-free.
• Report damaged irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, fences, or other property issues.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and outdoor event setup when needed.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure the hotel grounds remain attractive throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, or outdoor property maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and basic hand tools safely.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to identify common plant care and maintenance needs.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
