Job Description

A well-maintained hotel begins with beautiful outdoor spaces, and we are looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to help create an inviting environment for every guest. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining landscaped areas, and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity offers the chance to contribute to the appearance and overall guest experience of our hotel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, shrubs, and landscaped areas.
• Water plants, mow grass, trim hedges, and prune trees as required.
• Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and other debris from outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Apply fertilizers, mulch, and other landscaping materials when needed.
• Keep walkways, entrances, parking areas, and outdoor facilities clean and presentable.
• Monitor the condition of irrigation systems and report any faults.
• Assist with seasonal planting and landscape improvement projects.
• Support outdoor event setup by preparing and maintaining surrounding grounds.
• Report safety hazards, damaged property, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, or outdoor property maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and basic hand tools safely.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage daily tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive work ethic.
