Do you have a passion for coffee and a keen eye for quality? We are looking for a Green Coffee Buyer to join our growing coffee shop team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys sourcing exceptional coffee beans, building supplier relationships, and contributing to a memorable coffee experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase high-quality green coffee beans from local and international suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with coffee producers, exporters, and traders.
• Evaluate coffee samples through cupping and quality assessments.
• Monitor coffee market trends, pricing, and supply availability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Work closely with roasting and operations teams to ensure consistent bean quality.
• Manage inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in coffee sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of green coffee grading, cupping, and quality evaluation.
• Knowledge of global coffee-producing regions and coffee market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Passion for specialty coffee and continuous industry learning.
• Professional coffee certifications are an advantage but not required.
