Job Description
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? We are looking for a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Front Desk Clerk to become the welcoming face of our hotel. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide efficient check-in and check-out services.
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel’s property management system.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, reporting, and record keeping.
- Uphold hotel policies, security procedures, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a front office, customer service, reception, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy periods.
- Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
