Our hotel is looking for a courteous, organised, and service driven Front Desk Clerk to become the welcoming face of our property. In this role, you will assist guests throughout their stay, handle front desk operations efficiently, and ensure every visitor receives prompt and professional service. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and complete check in and check out procedures efficiently.
• Handle room reservations, cancellations, and booking modifications.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest enquiries promptly.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the property management system.
• Monitor the front desk area to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
• Follow hotel policies relating to security, privacy, and guest confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Front Desk Clerk, Receptionist, Guest Service Agent, or in a similar customer facing role within a hotel is preferred.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Comfortable handling cash, card transactions, and daily reconciliation.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
