Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Friturier to join our restaurant kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing perfectly fried dishes, maintaining high food quality, and contributing to a well-organised kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Monitor frying temperatures and cooking times to ensure consistent quality.
- Prepare ingredients and maintain adequate stock levels throughout service.
- Ensure all fried foods are served fresh and in a timely manner.
- Operate and maintain deep fryers and related kitchen equipment safely.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Minimise food waste through careful preparation and portion control.
- Keep the frying station clean, organised, and fully stocked.
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Friturier, Fry Cook, or in a similar kitchen role within a restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of frying techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a kitchen team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
