Food Runner

Job Description

A busy and welcoming restaurant is looking for an energetic Food Runner to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent guest experiences. You will play an important part in ensuring meals are delivered accurately and promptly from the kitchen to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.
• Ensure dishes are presented correctly before serving.
• Assist servers with table setup and clearing.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas.
• Help restock service stations and supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage but not essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
