Food Runner

Job Description

A busy and customer-focused restaurant is looking for an energetic Food Runner to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service by ensuring meals are served promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure dishes are presented correctly before serving.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff regarding orders.
• Assist servers with table maintenance and guest requests.
• Clear and reset tables when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support the team during busy service periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays safely.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices is preferred.
