Food Runner

Job Description

We are looking for a Food Runner to join our restaurant team and help ensure every dish reaches the right table promptly and presented at its best. You will work closely with servers and kitchen staff, bringing energy, teamwork, and a positive attitude to every shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently.
• Check dishes for presentation and completeness before serving.
• Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables when needed.
• Communicate with kitchen and service teams about special requests or missing items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation around service areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or food service environment is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Food safety knowledge or certification is an added advantage.
