Food Runner

Job Description

Bring energy, precision, and excellent service to every table as a Food Runner in our restaurant. We are looking for someone dependable and attentive who can work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure meals reach guests promptly, accurately, and presented to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct tables quickly and accurately.
• Check plates for proper presentation, portioning, and completeness before delivery.
• Assist servers with clearing, resetting, and maintaining dining areas during service.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
• Respond promptly to requests from servers and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation around service stations and dining areas.
• Handle dishes and service equipment carefully and follow food safety procedures.
• Help ensure guests receive a smooth and timely dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
