Food & Beverage Service Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Food & Beverage Service Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations, maintain outstanding service standards, and support the growth of our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant service team.
• Lead, coach, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure guests are welcomed promptly and receive a memorable dining experience.
• Coordinate table assignments and monitor service flow during busy periods.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and shift briefings.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor stock levels of service supplies and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Support the implementation of service standards, promotions, and operational procedures.
• Prepare daily reports and communicate operational updates to management.
• Ensure the restaurant maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in restaurant service, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards, food safety, and hygiene practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• High level of professionalism with a strong customer-service mindset.
