Floor Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to join our hotel. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a clean, welcoming environment while ensuring rooms and public areas consistently meet high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support housekeeping attendants during daily operations.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity.
• Coordinate room status updates with the front office.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up on timely repairs.
• Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of linens, guest amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience in a hotel preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and safety practices.
• Ability to use housekeeping management systems is an advantage.
