Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys leading teams, maintaining quality standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of housekeeping attendants and room attendants.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Assign daily work schedules and monitor task completion.
• Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to improve performance.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering team for prompt resolution.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities are adequately stocked.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, inspection reports, and inventory logs.
• Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, or in a similar supervisory role within a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and record-keeping.
