Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of guest room floors and public areas. This role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, supporting housekeeping teams, and ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of room attendants and housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Assign work schedules and daily room allocations to housekeeping employees.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report inventory requirements.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high performance.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene procedures are consistently followed.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and communicate operational updates to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, or in a similar supervisory role within a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and scheduling is an advantage.
