Floor Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of guest room floors and ensure exceptional cleanliness, organization, and service standards throughout the hotel. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high standards, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Supervise room attendants and public area staff during assigned shifts.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity and performance.
• Coordinate room readiness with the Front Office and Housekeeping teams.
• Ensure cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities are adequately stocked.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain quality service.
• Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, inspection reports, and shift logs.
• Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping with supervisory responsibilities in a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to organize workloads and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with housekeeping procedures, cleaning equipment, and safety practices.
• Basic computer skills for reports and operational records.
• Professional appearance and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
