Floor Supervisor

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for an organized and service-oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping activities and ensure guest areas and accommodation standards are consistently maintained. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Coordinate room readiness with the front office team.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report inventory requirements.
• Train, mentor, and support housekeeping employees.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel policies.
• Prepare reports on room status, maintenance issues, and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, with supervisory experience being an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and hotel management systems is desirable.
