Floor Supervisor

Job Description

A busy hotel is looking for a confident and hands-on Floor Supervisor to help oversee daily operations and ensure guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff on assigned floors.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity.
• Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Train, coach, and support team members to maintain service excellence.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies and amenities are adequately stocked.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up on repairs.
• Assist with scheduling and shift coordination when required.
• Maintain compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications is an advantage.
