Finance Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Officer to oversee financial operations, support budgeting, and ensure the restaurant’s financial records remain accurate and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Monitor daily sales, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, supplier payments, and expense claims.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Track operating costs and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure timely payroll support and statutory payment processing.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with management to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Finance Officer, Accountant, or in a similar finance role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
