A busy restaurant is looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Expediter to help coordinate the smooth flow of food from the kitchen to the service team. This role is essential in ensuring every order is accurate, complete, and delivered promptly while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Responsibilities

• Coordinate the timely movement of food orders from the kitchen to service staff.
• Review completed dishes to ensure accuracy, presentation, and quality before they leave the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to resolve order issues quickly.
• Prioritize orders during busy service periods to maintain efficient workflow.
• Monitor ticket times and help reduce delays in food delivery.
• Ensure special requests and dietary instructions are followed correctly.
• Keep the pass area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in maintaining excellent communication between kitchen and dining room teams.
• Report any service or kitchen delays to the appropriate supervisors.
• Support overall restaurant operations to deliver a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Expediter or in a restaurant food service role is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and food service procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
