Expediter

Job Description

Do you thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy keeping things organized behind the scenes? We’re looking for an attentive and dependable Expediter to help keep kitchen and service operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll act as the link between the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring orders are accurate, timely, and presented to standard.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food orders between kitchen staff and service teams
• Ensure meals are prepared, plated, and delivered accurately and on time
• Double-check orders for quality, presentation, and completeness before service
• Communicate clearly with chefs and waitstaff to resolve delays or order concerns
• Monitor ticket flow and help maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
• Support cleanliness and organization around food pass and service areas
• Assist in maintaining service standards and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or fast-paced customer service environment is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay organized in a busy environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to support both kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to quality service
