Job Description

We are seeking a professional and energetic Event Server to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional guest service while supporting a variety of events, including weddings, conferences, banquets, corporate functions, and private celebrations. As an Event Server, you will play an important role in creating memorable experiences by providing attentive service, maintaining high presentation standards, and ensuring every event runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces before guest arrival, including table settings and service stations.
• Welcome guests with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently during banquets, conferences, and special events.
• Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout each event.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown when required.
• Work closely with the kitchen and event teams to ensure seamless service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Handle serving equipment with care and report any maintenance issues.
• Support the setup and dismantling of event furniture and equipment.
• Maintain a polished appearance and uphold the hotel’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet service, restaurant service, catering, or event operations is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift event equipment when required.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
