Job Description

We are seeking a professional and energetic Event Server to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences while working in a fast-paced event environment. As an Event Server, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional service during conferences, weddings, banquets, corporate functions, and special events while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event requirements.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive food and beverage service.
• Serve meals, beverages, and refreshments efficiently and courteously.
• Monitor guest needs throughout events and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas before, during, and after functions.
• Clear tables, reset event spaces, and assist with post-event breakdown.
• Work closely with the kitchen and banquet teams to ensure smooth event operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support colleagues to ensure every event is delivered successfully.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet service, event service, food and beverage service, or a similar customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry serving trays when required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and service etiquette is preferred.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
