Driver

Job Description

The Driver will support the hotel’s daily operations by providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for guests, staff, and approved hotel activities. The role requires excellent driving skills, punctuality, discretion, and a strong knowledge of road safety. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, and capable of representing the hotel professionally at all times.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests, staff, and authorised personnel to assigned destinations.
• Provide timely pick-up and drop-off services according to schedules and requests.
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and roadworthy hotel vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist guests with luggage when required.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Follow all road safety regulations and hotel transportation procedures.
• Demonstrate professional and courteous behaviour when interacting with guests.
• Respond appropriately to changes in schedules, routes, or transportation requirements.
• Coordinate with the front office and other hotel departments regarding transport arrangements.

Qualifications

• Valid and appropriate driving licence.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a hotel, tourism, corporate, or similar service environment.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven record of safe and responsible driving.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
